MOTHER'S DAY SPECIAL - Porcelain Sea Urchin & Keepsake Bowls Workshop with morning tea (included) : Sunday 11th May 2025 10.30am-12.30pm
I welcome you to join the group at my Eastbourne Studio for mother’s day! You and your daughter/son can enjoy hand-building a gorgeous porcelain sea urchin bowl followed by a dainty porcelain Keepsake Bowl. I will provide cake and tea to add a bit of pampering for you and your mum on mothers day. A wheel demonstration and kiln room tour is included.
This is a 2 hour session.
$155 per attendee for 2 hour workshop will include:
• an introduction and opportunity to experiment with your creative process using materials provided e.g.stamps, buttons to make textures and patterns on your clay sample before applying to your Urchin or Keepsake template.
• you’ll make one beautiful urchin bowl and one delicate porcelain keepsake bowl. Your clay slab template will be prepped ready for you to decorate. Assistance with construction techniques in building your handmade item.
• a wheel throwing demonstration
• morning tea refreshments and home baking.
• studio and kiln workshop tour covering the process of producing a finished ceramic piece from start to finish.
$155 per person for 2 hours 6-10 people (3-5 pairs of mum and daughter/son).
Workshop spaces limited to maximum of 10 people.

Note: a minimum number of bookings are needed for the workshop to run, but in the event the workshop is cancelled, a full refund will be available for those who have already booked and paid.
The cost of my workshops reflect the value of this personalised experience, in addition to the time commitment pre and post-workshop for clay prep, finishing, glazing & 2 x firings. You will produce 1-4 items depending on the workshop you choose. These will be finished, glazed and fired twice after your workshop by me and you'll be notified when they are ready for you to take home and treasure. The turn around can be 3-5 weeks depending on where your workshop falls in relation to my firing schedule.
